Desperate to stop it, the Wagon Crew must traverse an underground complex fraught with ancient traps and broken machines, and as Neomi gathers power to themselves, the very fabric of reality begins to unravel.

Can I start with this novella?
If you love to read the endings before you start a book … maybe? But for just about everyone: no. This is the last book of the big arc, and without context it won’t do much for you!
Last of a “big arc” ? What happened to “nine novellas series”?
It was always a lie. A smokescreen. An escape for me in case I wanted to end it there. But the truth is that in proper JRPG fashion, I’ve always envisioned The Chronicles of Nerezia as having big storyarcs akin to old
school “discs”. If you were playing JRPGs in the era of Final Fantasy 7 or Tales of Symphonia (GC), there would be big climactic story points after which you would have to physically change the disc. This is what
I’m calling each of these arcs, the way a TV show calls them seasons.
So there will be more! But this is hopefully a good fun place to conclude some storylines and leave you eager for more.
