Fate and friendship bring Horace (an ever-failing apprentice), Rumi (an anxious artificer), and Aliyah (an amnesiac elf with strange powers) together in Rumi’s Wandering Wagon of Wonderful Wares, a sentient self-propelling wagon. They seek the forest haunting Aliyah’s dream, hoping for answers about their past and their unique abilities—but for that, they need to traverse a world haunted by Fragments, dangerous shards that can possess travellers.
Their time together is marked by countless board games, new companions, and a mysterious organization that seems to follow them around, sometimes helping, sometimes hindering. Every adventure brings new knowledge about themselves and the Fragments, until it seems obvious they’ll find far more than Aliyah’s memories in the long-sought forest.
